Join Casey's Fuel team as an Associate Data Analyst! Fuel is a fast-moving, data-rich part of our business. As an Associate Data Analyst, you'll work closely with the Fuel organization to turn data into clear insights and analytical products that help teams make better, faster decisions. You'll partner directly with Retail Fuel, Fuel Supply, and Fuel Transportation to support high-impact projects and deliver actionable analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with the Fuel team to gather requirements, clarify business objectives, and translate needs into analytical solutions aligned to desired outcomes. Collaborate across Retail Fuel, Fuel Supply, and Fuel Transportation to support cross-functional projects with analysis and insights. Perform descriptive and diagnostic analysis using data mining and analytic techniques to uncover trends, drivers, and opportunities. Build and deliver analytical products that are easy for stakeholders to understand and use-turning data into decisions. What you can expect when you join the Casey's Team:

Compensation:
Starting pay range: $60,200 - $79,100. Actual pay may vary based on Casey's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. This position is eligible for an annual cash bonus based on company performance. Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Problem-solving, analytical, and statistical skills to tackle complex challenges around data analysis and business intelligence delivery. Understanding of statistical methods and techniques to deliver diagnostic and descriptive analytic use cases. Data modeling, extraction, transformation, statistical and business calculation languages (SQL, Python/PySpark, and Power BI DAX/M). No/Low code data wrangling platforms (Power BI M Query/Dataflows or Databricks workflows). Business Intelligence platforms (PowerBI preferred). Knowledge of data analytic cloud platforms, databases, and surrounding ecosystems (Azure or Databricks Preferred).
