The pay range is $115,000.00 - $206,000.00. Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. If you are a critical thinker and a creative problem-solver, this is the perfect opportunity for you. As a Lead Data Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting our stores' analytical needs. You will work with data, statistics, and visualization to extract actionable insights, thereby adding significant value across all Target functions. You will collaborate with team members and continuously explore new technologies and methodologies, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement metrics, reports, and visualizations to align with business objectives. Collaborate with business partners to translate their needs into effective analytical solutions. Design, execute, and document data analysis projects while adhering to data management best practices. Utilize the scientific method to conduct experiments and derive meaningful insights from data. Maintain robust database architectures to ensure data accuracy and efficiency. Stay current with evolving technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy in your workflows. Provide training and guidance on reporting tools and analytical best practices. Partner with Store Operations and other teams to improve processes and drive data-driven decision-making. About You: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Math, Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in data visualization and statistical analysis at scale. Proven experience in developing actionable metrics, reports, and visualizations while documenting processes and adhering to best practices. Proficiency in programming languages like SQL, Python, R, or similar. Experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent tools. Strong analytical skills with adaptability to changing priorities. Exceptional communication skills to clearly present complex data insights. Ability to learn, teach, and implement advanced reporting and analytical tools and methodologies. Experience with Store Processes is a plus. This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target's needs, which requires being onsite at the Target HQ MN location and virtually as required.
