Senior DevOps Architect
is pivotal in enhancing customer experiences by developing functional systems. This role oversees the management of cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for the Data Platform and Data Engineering teams, collaborating closely with the Enterprise Cloud Platform Engineering and DevOps teams. You'll serve as a vital link between development and operations, applying a software engineering approach to system administration tasks. Daily activities include solution architecture, infrastructure monitoring, incident response, and automating infrastructure and application deployments across all software development lifecycles. The salary starts around $150k, based on experience. Position remains open until filled. What You'll Do Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Cloudbees, or ArgoCD.
Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
Provide advanced technical support (Level 3).
Conduct root cause analysis for production issues.
Design and lead the execution of DevOps automation processes for infrastructure and software deployment.
Analyze problems and break them into manageable tasks.
Employ both strategic and agile methodologies with a focus on rapid delivery.
Develop cloud-first, global IaaS, CI/CD, and automation solutions using relevant technologies.
What We're Looking For Over 10 years of experience in software engineering, system administration, and/or DevOps; a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role.
Expertise in CI/CD principles and pipeline development, especially with Jenkins, ArgoCD, or Cloudbees.
Strong strategic and long-term planning skills.
Proficient with Git and Git workflows.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, and AWS CloudFormation is preferred.
Familiarity with Lean and Agile methodologies.
Experience deploying in cloud environments.
Knowledge in cloud resource optimization is a plus.
Competence in Linux and Windows system administration.
Effective collaboration skills to engage with stakeholders across various functions and locations.
Ability to influence and lead teams.
Adaptable and flexible, capable of working well in uncertain situations.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Results-oriented with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Experience in building and leading diverse, high-performing teams.

This is a remote role; operates on Eastern Time (ET) business hours.
