In this pivotal role, you will oversee the performance, security, and stability of our global telecommunications infrastructure. You will have the opportunity to shape the operations of our network and establish best practices while mentoring junior engineers. In this role, you will: Enhance the reliability and growth of our Enterprise Voice & Messaging platforms, including SIP Trunking, Global DID services, SMS Messaging, and robust APIs for a diverse customer base that includes startups, multinational companies, financial institutions, educational institutions, marketing firms, delivery services, and government agencies. Monitor the stability and performance of our global telecom network to ensure maximum uptime and high message delivery rates. Take charge of critical incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective long-term preventive measures. Lead and mentor lower-tier engineers during incident escalation and troubleshooting processes. Manage advanced network configurations, routing policies, and upgrades within our SMS and Voice infrastructure. Create, implement, and uphold robust network security measures to protect systems from unauthorized access. Develop comprehensive documentation for incident workflows, systems architecture, playbooks, and operational procedures. Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams to address service-affecting issues. Analyze network data to detect anomalies, trends, or capacity concerns, and proactively enhance performance. Participate in refining the on-call rotation process to ensure SLAs are met with minimal downtime. Evaluate and adopt tools to improve monitoring, alerting, and automation within the NOC. Support the training and development of NOC team members through mentorship and knowledge-sharing.
