Role Overview As a Senior Manager in the Controllership Organization, you will play a pivotal role in the Data Enablement process, ensuring that crucial datasets are configured correctly, accessible, and comply with governance standards. You will develop data models from various sources to yield actionable insights that aid the Controllership team and optimize current processes. The ideal candidate possesses in-depth knowledge of data models and is comfortable collaborating with finance stakeholders, utilizing data to enhance operational outcomes. Key Responsibilities Data Governance : Enhance data quality, lineage, and trust for finance data from systems like Workday Financials and Workday HCM, acting as the dataset owner to ensure high standards. Business Partnership : Collaborate with stakeholders to identify ways data can improve business performance and operational efficiency. Data Analysis : Analyze large datasets to enhance processes and deliver valuable business insights, strengthening the internal control environment. Data Quality Assessment : Evaluate new data sources and collection methods for accuracy and reliability. Metadata Management : Work with IT and Business Data Stewards to maintain current and accurate metadata for assigned datasets. Dataset Development : Identify and prioritize datasets using Snowflake, Tableau, or similar tools. Performance Metrics : Define key performance indicators, monitor outcomes, and support business planning based on data insights. Data Architecture Collaboration : Collaborate with finance data teams to support data architecture and deliver business intelligence solutions. Business & Analytics Alignment : Facilitate communication between business teams and analytics specialists to prioritize projects effectively. Analytics Transformation : Lead the transition from basic reporting to advanced, insight-driven analytics. Required Qualifications Experience managing data pipelines and analytics platforms in complex environments. Proven track record in designing modern data architectures. Proficiency with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau). Advanced SQL skills and experience with ETL, BI reporting, and data modeling. Experience with CRM and modern SaaS platforms. Familiarity with data catalog and lineage tools. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Preferred Qualifications BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience. 8+ years in the data domain, with 5+ years in a managerial role. Experience with finance domain architectures, including ERP systems. Adept at building business cases and managing strategic partnerships. Ability to manage priorities and deliver high-quality results. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Please note that this role is hybrid, with 3 days in the office each week.
