$37.04 - $55.57/hour. Pay is based on relevant experience. This full-time, exempt/salary position is part of UCHealth's Database Administration team, focused on maintaining Caché/Iris databases. Ideal candidates should have a robust technical background and reside in an approved state. Key Responsibilities: Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Caché/Iris databases. Install, configure, and maintain robust database environments. Set up and optimize Epic monitoring tools, manage alerts and logs, and oversee the configuration of administrative tools. Monitor service health, respond to service requests, and manage change efficiently. Proactively identify potential issues and implement preventive processes. Perform routine system upgrades and maintenance. Test and maintain business continuity procedures, including disaster recovery and backup restores. Configure and execute environment refreshes as necessary. Analyze performance metrics and troubleshoot any performance-related issues. Utilize critical thinking and decision-making skills to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment. Minimum Requirements: High School diploma or GED. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience managing Caché/Iris databases. Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems and Shell scripting. Bachelor's degree in a related field. EPIC (Cache/IRIS) certification. Experience collaborating with diverse project teams, including business and IT infrastructure. Proven ability to identify, prioritize, and troubleshoot complex issues. Strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement, with an ability to assist others in resolution processes.
