As we expand our global R&D team, we are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer who is eager to dive hands-on into model development and ML systems, learn, implement impactful features, and grow within a collaborative and dynamic environment. You will become a key member of the AI Engineering team within the Platform Tribe, focusing on building training pipelines, inference systems, and model-serving tools that enable reliable AI-powered creative experiences at scale. Your contributions will support features like high-fidelity image generation, stylization workflows, and innovative image-to-video capabilities, translating the latest research into practical creative tools. This role provides extensive exposure to generative ML technologies, including diffusion and transformer models, and will enhance your skills in performance optimization, GPU environments, and reproducible workflows. You'll collaborate closely with senior ML engineers and research scientists, gaining insight and taking on more responsibilities as you develop. Model Development and Evaluation: Work alongside research scientists to adapt and optimize diffusion and transformer-based models. Conduct experiments and assess model outputs to enhance quality and consistency. Contribute to performance improvements like batching, caching, or quantization with guidance from mentors. Identify bottlenecks and explore opportunities for generation enhancements. ML Engineering and Systems Development: Build and maintain robust training and inference pipelines. Utilize GPU environments in AWS and Kubernetes for optimal performance. Implement Docker and internal tools to standardize training, experimentation, and deployment processes. Contribute to the development of shared APIs and model-serving components. MLOps and Reliability: Assist with dataset handling, experiment tracking, and model versioning to support our workflows. Enhance monitoring dashboards and alerts to ensure system performance remains high. Guarantee reproducibility across checkpoints, datasets, and experiments. Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with product teams to facilitate the integration of generative features. Share insights and participate in fostering a supportive engineering culture.
