Border Security Professional

A Border Patrol Agent is responsible for safeguarding the American people by preventing and detecting unauthorized entry into the United States. This role involves patrolling the international border, inspecting documents and possessions, and making arrests when necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a strong sense of justice. They will also need to be physically fit and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.

Typical assignments include:

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws


• Inspecting vehicles and cargo at checkpoints


• Maintaining surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations
