We are in the final stages of mobile development and preparing for our App Store release.
*Role Overview*
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer who can help us bring the product across the finish line. You will work directly with the founding team to refine core features, improve performance, and ensure the app is ready for a high quality launch.
This role is deeply hands on and ideal for someone who enjoys early stage building and wants to influence product decisions rather than simply complete assigned tasks.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Finalize front end and back end development for the Rex mobile application * Collaborate on feature decisions, UX flows, and overall product quality * Integrate external APIs including streaming data, metadata, and AI powered recommendation systems * Improve app performance, scalability, and reliability * Prepare the codebase and infrastructure for App Store submission * Debug, test, and deliver production ready builds
*Preferred Tech Experience*
* React Native and Swift for iOS * Node with optional Python experience * Firebase, AWS, or Google Cloud * PostgreSQL or other modern databases * REST or GraphQL API development * AI and machine learning integrations are a bonus
*Who You Are*
* A full stack developer with experience building polished consumer products * Comfortable working in rapid build cycles and making fast decisions * Strong understanding of product and user experience * Experienced with mobile development and ideally familiar with shipping to the App Store * Independent, xawqmyg communicative, and comfortable working directly with founders
A love for film, television, or entertainment technology is a plus.
*Engagement Details*
* Contract to start, hourly * Opportunity to transition into a full time role after launch * Equity is available for long term contributors * Austin based is preferred but remote is possible for the right person
