Your Role and Responsibilities: We are seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to become part of our Population Intelligence team. This team plays a vital role in aggregating and normalizing data from various sources, enabling advanced decision-making, predictive algorithms, population identification, and analytics. In this role, you will: Utilize your intermediate to advanced knowledge of software architecture to develop, debug, and design software applications according to design specifications.
Enhance existing software architectures while suggesting improvements.
Apply problem-solving skills and adhere to company policies and processes.
Key Qualifications: Expertise in frontend technologies such as React, Preact, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, and Oracle JET.
Proficiency in a modern programming language like Java, C++, C#, or Python.
Strong understanding of design patterns and SOLID principles.
Experience in writing maintainable and modular software.
Familiarity with software engineering best practices, including agile methodologies, coding standards, and code reviews.
Knowledge of DevOps technologies such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Maven.
Comprehensive grasp of modern web applications from backend to user interface.
Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
Capability to build and maintain scalable enterprise applications and cloud platforms.
Basic knowledge of Big Data Processing tools like Spark and Hive.
Strong communication skills in both technical and non-technical contexts.
Required Qualifications: 4+ years of relevant technical experience.
A collaborative mindset to communicate effectively with team members.
A BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Compensation and Benefits: The US hiring range for this position is $79,200 to $178,100 per annum, with eligibility for bonuses and equity. We offer a rich benefits package including: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
