divh2System Administrator/h2pacuCyber is seeking a System Administrator to support the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic) Expeditionary Enterprise Systems and Services (E2S2) Division. NIWC Atlantic provides design, acquisition, and sustainment services for Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) Information Technology (IT) systems./ppRequired Skills:/pulliActive Top Secret Level Clearance/liliBachelors degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems or higher (BS, BA, or Associate of Science (AS) shall be from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited program.)/liliMinimum seven (7) years experience with Masters or 11 years with Bachelors degree of professional experience in systems administration to include supporting daily operational requirements of computer network systems including workstation, file servers, and web servers/liliCybersecurity workforce certification/training in accordance with DoD 8570.1M and subsequent DoD 8140 manual, as applicable. (i.e. CompTIA A+ CE, Network+ CE, Security+ CE, CISSP, and GSEC)/liliInstallation of hardware, software, systems upgrades, network accounts, network security, and web page design, interface and updates, and local system design documentation/liliExperience maintaining, troubleshooting, and implementing network security tools including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection services/liliCapable of training staff on software applicable to their position, assisting customers with information technology, monitoring system configuration (hardware and software), and providing instruction on computers and applications/liliWindows OS Basics - Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows and/or Server/liliActive Directory Basics - Logging in users, resetting passwords, understanding user accounts/liliBasic Networking - IP addresses, DNS, and how network issues affect virtual desktops/liliTroubleshooting skills - use log files, event history, and version control to trace issues/liliPatch Management - applying updates to fix security vulnerabilities, bugs, and performance issues/liliEnd User Device Management/li/ulpMinimal travel - three or four week-long trips per year CONUS and OCONUS/ppHybrid role - some time on-site and some remote./ppAbout acuCyber/ppacuCyber is a small business headquartered in Charleston, SC specializing in assisting clients with their most challenging needs around cyber security, compliance, risk management, IT, security engineering and program management. acuCyber brings experience across multiple sectors supporting a multitude of customers.
