Are you ready to push your limits and redefine what's possible? Join Coinbase in our mission to enhance economic freedom worldwide. This opportunity is massive and ambitious, as we create the onchain platform that will shape the future of the global financial system. We're looking for a unique candidate—someone who is passionate about our mission and believes in the transformative power of crypto and blockchain technology. If you're eager to make a significant impact, thrive under pressure, and seek constructive feedback to continuously improve, we want to hear from you. Embrace the challenge of solving complex problems alongside talented colleagues in an intense work environment. Our culture is collaborative yet demanding. While many roles at Coinbase embrace a remote-first approach, in-person participation is highly valued throughout the year. We organize multiple team and company offsites annually to foster collective collaboration, connection, and alignment. About the Staking Platform
Our mission is straightforward: develop robust platform services that empower high-quality staking products for both retail and institutional customers. This ensures that individuals can earn dividends on their crypto assets while contributing to the security and decentralization of blockchain networks. Our Staking Data Team plays a pivotal role in supporting Coinbase's staking offerings by constructing and maintaining reliable blockchain data pipelines and APIs. We prioritize accuracy and scalability, integrate new blockchain assets, and develop APY-boosting technologies, ultimately enhancing the staking experience for all users and promoting the growth of decentralized finance. Your Responsibilities:
Collaborate with various teams for service integrations. Engage in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to uphold high code quality standards. Troubleshoot and debug complex issues. Qualifications:
At least 5+ years of experience in software engineering. Familiarity with GoLang and/or Ruby preferred. Proven track record in designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services with a strong understanding of service-oriented architecture. Experience in decomposing large software systems is a plus. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code that meets customer needs. A keen attention to detail. A passion for creating an open financial system that unites the world. Preferred Qualifications:
Background in crypto. Experience with Solana data, indexing, and scaling large systems. Familiarity with onchain activities, including interactions with Ethereum addresses, using ENS, and engaging with dApps or blockchain-based services. Please note that responses to crypto-related questions may be part of the evaluation process for assessing your onchain experience. We value transparency in compensation. Depending on your work location, the target annual base salary for this position ranges from $186,065 to $218,900 USD. Full-time offers also include bonus eligibility, equity, and benefits like medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). We encourage you to carefully evaluate how your skills align with our roles, keeping in mind that you can submit a maximum of four applications within any 30-day period.
