Role Overview
This role supports enterprise
Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
and
Data Security
initiatives, playing a critical part in protecting sensitive and regulated data. The analyst will partner closely with DLP leadership and technology teams to monitor alerts, validate incidents, and provide actionable insights that strengthen security controls and program effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities Monitor and triage alerts generated by Data Loss Prevention technologies, escalating incidents in accordance with established procedures. Support incident validation efforts by partnering with senior DLP leaders and security stakeholders. Develop and maintain playbooks, job aids, and procedural documentation to support DLP operations. Provide feedback to engineering and technology teams on DLP policy performance and rule effectiveness. Prepare and deliver routine DLP program metrics, dashboards, and reporting for leadership. Support ad hoc data analysis and reporting requests from DLP leadership. Analyze data across multiple sources to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement within the DLP program. Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Data Loss Prevention and data security tools such as
Proofpoint, Microsoft Purview, and Island.io . Strong proficiency in
Microsoft Excel , including pivot tables and data analysis techniques. Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and investigative skills. Ability to synthesize data from multiple sources into clear, actionable insights. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams including security, technology, and business partners.
