Our client is seeking a
Senior Software Architect
to join the Enterprise Architecture team and drive the design and delivery of cloud-native, highly scalable enterprise applications. This role is focused on architecting modern, microservices-based solutions with
Microsoft Azure
as the preferred cloud platform. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong architectural judgment, and the ability to align technology solutions with business strategy in a fast-paced, enterprise environment. Responsibilities & Qualifications Architect and design cloud-native, enterprise-scale software solutions aligned with business strategy Lead and implement
microservices-based architectures
for complex business applications Evaluate existing systems, development strategies, and recommend architectural improvements Develop system architecture models, standards, and reference implementations Drive cloud adoption efforts, including migration of custom applications to Azure Define compliance architecture approaches (data storage, metadata management, change control) Support build-vs-buy decisions and mentor development teams on architectural best practices Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to design scalable business process workflows Contribute to high-quality, on-time delivery of customer-facing software initiatives Provide architectural documentation, training, and ongoing solution support Stay current with emerging technologies across cloud platforms, DevOps, security, databases, and software architecture Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred) 5+ years of experience in
software architecture and system design Strong experience with
Microsoft technologies
(.NET 8, C#, ASP.NET, Web API, Azure Services) Experience architecting and developing
modern Web UIs
(Angular, React) Deep knowledge of architectural and design patterns, including
event-driven and distributed systems Hands-on experience with
Azure DevOps
and CI/CD pipeline design Strong understanding of
SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS
cloud models Experience with relational and NoSQL databases Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, on-site environment Must be eligible to convert to full-time employment
