Senior DevOps Platform Engineer
to help design, automate, and operate resilient, secure infrastructure supporting enterprise-scale applications and services. This role blends
Linux platform engineering, DevOps practices, and software development
to enable reliable and high-performing delivery pipelines across on-premises and cloud environments. You'll partner closely with software delivery, platform engineering, security, and operations teams to implement scalable solutions that support both legacy and modern workloads in a regulated enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities
Enable continuous, reliable, and rapid delivery of technical solutions through automation and modern DevOps practices Design, develop, and enhance CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tooling, and delivery processes Improve operational excellence through observability, automation, and incident reduction Collaborate across application, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to design and implement optimal platform solutions Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments using tools such as
Ansible, Puppet, or Chef Design and support
automated certificate lifecycle management , including issuance, renewal, rotation, and revocation Support platform security efforts by assessing and remediating vulnerabilities across
Linux (RHEL)
and Windows systems Research, evaluate, and prototype emerging DevOps and platform technologies to improve performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency Provide technical guidance and recommendations to engineering leadership on DevOps and platform strategy Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent professional experience 5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure engineering roles Hands-on experience designing and supporting
CI/CD pipelines
(Jenkins or similar tools) Strong experience with
configuration management and automation
tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) Advanced experience operating and troubleshooting
Linux systems (RHEL or equivalent)
in enterprise environments Experience supporting
virtualized infrastructure
(VMware or similar platforms) Working knowledge of
container technologies
such as Docker and Kubernetes Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills Experience collaborating across infrastructure, application, and security teams in large-scale or regulated environments Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud platforms such as
AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform Exposure to
hybrid or multi-cloud architectures Familiarity with vulnerability management and compliance processes in enterprise environments Work Environment
Hybrid schedule:
3 days per week onsite in
Atlanta, GA Remainder of time remote
