Seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician for our San Francisco, California location! This role is critical for maintaining the operational efficiency and **Safety** of our warehouse and its equipment. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various warehouse machinery, including conveyor systems, forklifts, and automated picking systems. A strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems is essential. You will work closely with the logistics team to minimize downtime and ensure the smooth flow of goods. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and adherence to strict safety standards. You will be provided with all necessary **PPE** and expected to use it diligently. Experience with preventative maintenance schedules and a solid grasp of industrial **logistics** equipment are key requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically inclined individual to contribute to a vital operational function. You should be comfortable with **Lifting** and maneuvering equipment as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on warehouse machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues promptly.
- Install new equipment and ensure proper calibration.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure all equipment operates in compliance with safety regulations.
- Work collaboratively with the operations and logistics teams to schedule maintenance and repairs.
- Operate forklifts and other machinery safely during maintenance tasks.
- Adhere to all company Safety protocols and procedures.
- Wear all required PPE, including hard hats, safety glasses, and gloves.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role, preferably in a warehouse/logistics environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety best practices.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including Lifting and working in various positions.
- Commitment to upholding high standards of Safety and operational excellence.
