We are looking for a meticulous Inventory Clerk to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, and assisting with inventory control procedures. Your attention to detail is paramount to the success of our logistics operations, ensuring we have the right products in the right place at the right time. You will use inventory management software and handheld scanners to track stock levels, investigate discrepancies, and report findings. A commitment to Safety and proper handling of inventory is expected. We provide necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position offers a great opportunity to develop your skills in inventory management within a fast-paced warehouse environment. You'll work closely with the warehouse and operations teams to ensure data integrity and efficiency. Understanding of inventory principles and a proactive approach to problem-solving are highly valued. This role involves both desk work and on-the-floor activities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Record inventory data accurately using company software and scanners.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Receive and process incoming inventory, verifying quantities and condition.
- Organize and maintain stockroom, ensuring items are properly labeled and stored.
- Assist in managing stock levels and identifying low-stock items.
- Prepare inventory reports for management.
- Ensure adherence to all warehouse Safety regulations.
- Wear appropriate PPE during all inventory and warehouse activities.
- Support the overall logistics and supply chain functions of the company.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse operations preferred.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and/or ERP systems.
- Strong data entry and computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Ability to perform some Lifting as required for stock movement.
- Commitment to maintaining precise inventory records.
