Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct daily warehouse operations and staff.
- Coordinate and manage inbound and outbound logistics activities.
- Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems.
- Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization.
- Enforce all safety policies and procedures, including PPE requirements.
- Train and mentor warehouse team members.
- Conduct performance reviews and manage staff schedules.
- Manage equipment maintenance and ensure operational readiness.
- Liaise with other departments and external partners.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Commitment to fostering a strong safety culture and ensuring PPE compliance.
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
