Our Dallas, Texas facility is looking for a diligent Inventory Clerk to manage and maintain accurate stock levels. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, and ensuring the overall accuracy of our inventory data. This role is critical for the efficient operation of our **logistics** and supply chain. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure data accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or overages to management.
- Assist with the receiving and put-away process to ensure proper inventory placement.
- Identify and report damaged or obsolete inventory items.
- Implement and maintain **safety** procedures in inventory storage areas.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment for moving inventory (certification may be required).
- Ensure compliance with all **PPE** requirements and **logistics** best practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency with WMS software and inventory management principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including **lifting** up to 40 pounds, standing, and walking.
- Knowledge of **logistics** and supply chain operations.
- Commitment to workplace **safety** and familiarity with **PPE**.
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
