We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our growing logistics team in Huntsville, Alabama. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our facility, ensuring the efficient movement and storage of goods. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, contributing to our overall success in the logistics sector. Key responsibilities include:
- Receiving, unpacking, and stocking incoming inventory.
- Picking and preparing orders for shipment.
- Packing items securely for transit.
- Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintaining inventory accuracy through proper stock rotation and organization.
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Assisting with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
Safety is paramount. All associates are required to wear designated personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere strictly to all safety regulations and procedures. This role involves considerable physical activity, including frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, bending, and walking.
