We are looking for meticulous and efficient Order Pickers to join our logistics team in San Jose, California. In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting products from our extensive inventory to fulfill customer orders. Your precision and speed will directly impact our supply chain's efficiency and customer satisfaction. This position requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and a steadfast commitment to safety, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on pick lists or voice-directed systems.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Handle all products with care, ensuring they are free from damage before proceeding.
- Stage completed orders in designated areas for consolidation and shipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to all logistics and safety standards.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques and mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock put-away when needed.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks or order pickers safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds consistently.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced logistics environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
