Our busy Distribution Center in Portland, Oregon is looking for a motivated Distribution Center Associate to join our team. This role encompasses a wide range of tasks crucial to the efficient flow of goods through our facility, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. You will work in a dynamic environment, contributing to order fulfillment and inventory management. A strong commitment to safety, including proper use of PPE and adherence to all guidelines, is expected. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to customer specifications.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate manual and powered warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience is an advantage.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Basic understanding of logistics and warehouse operations.
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Reliable and punctual.
