We are hiring a Forklift Operator for our Cincinnati, Ohio distribution center! This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and safety-conscious individual to join our logistics team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move materials, load and unload trucks, and support overall warehouse operations. You will ensure materials are transported correctly and stored in their designated locations. A strong understanding of warehouse Safety protocols, including proper load handling and awareness of your surroundings, is essential. You will play a vital role in maintaining the flow of goods within our facility. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload freight from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from different areas of the warehouse.
- Perform routine checks on forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock checks.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Use required PPE, such as hard hats and high-visibility vests.
- Follow established guidelines for safe Lifting and material handling when not operating machinery.
- Contribute to efficient logistics operations through timely material movement.
