Exciting opportunity in Des Moines, Iowa! We are looking for enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our thriving Logistics team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. Your primary duties will involve accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets, packaging them securely for shipment, and preparing them for dispatch. This position demands accuracy, speed, and a meticulous approach to order fulfillment. You'll be working with a diverse range of products, requiring careful handling and attention to detail. A strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential. We provide comprehensive training to ensure you are comfortable and proficient with our systems and procedures. Your contribution is key to customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners and order sheets.
- Inspect products for damage before packing.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Stage completed orders for pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE .
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and meet production targets.
- Willingness to assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
- Capable of Lifting items up to 40 lbs.
