Are you ready to be a vital part of our Charlotte, North Carolina warehouse operations? We're hiring a dedicated Material Handler to ensure the smooth flow of goods. This role involves everything from receiving and storing inventory to picking orders and preparing them for dispatch. You'll be instrumental in maintaining an organized and efficient workspace, utilizing various warehouse equipment, and contributing to our overall logistics success. We place a high emphasis on safety, and adherence to all safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE, is mandatory. The ideal candidate is physically capable of handling moderate to heavy lifting, possesses a keen eye for detail, and works well within a team. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming materials.
- Stage materials for production or shipment.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks with proper training and certification.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through diligent scanning and data entry.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, orderly, and safe.
- Assist with picking and packing orders as needed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and utilize designated PPE.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and warehouse best practices.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
