We are hiring a dedicated Picker/Packer to join our busy warehouse in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. This position is vital to our logistics process, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. You will work closely with our inventory management system and adhere to strict quality control measures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and capable of working in a dynamic warehouse environment. A positive attitude and a commitment to teamwork are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse shelves using order pick lists or scanners.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Label packages with appropriate shipping information.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory movement.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as restocking or quality checks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a picking/packing or warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and labels.
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles.
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and use provided PPE.
