We are hiring a motivated Material Handler for our busy facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a Material Handler, you will be instrumental in moving, organizing, and preparing materials and products for distribution. This role demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient workspace. You will be involved in various warehouse activities, including loading, unloading, and staging goods, ensuring the smooth flow of inventory within the logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks.
- Move materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Organize inventory and maintain stock rotation.
- Perform regular equipment checks and report any maintenance needs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy.
- Prepare materials for shipment.
- Be prepared for significant Lifting and physical exertion.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Experience operating various types of material handling equipment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 60 lbs).
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and logistics.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required.
