We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Reach Truck Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Miami, Florida. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is critical to ensuring efficient warehouse operations and maintaining inventory accuracy. You will be involved in all aspects of warehouse functions, from receiving and put-away to order fulfillment. A strong understanding of warehouse procedures and a commitment to safety are paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a reach truck to move and stack pallets in racking systems.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Perform daily inspections of the reach truck and report any issues immediately.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and warehouse operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals.
- Proper use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Be prepared for frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Reach Truck Operator.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety is essential.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
