As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be involved in a variety of tasks essential to our logistics process, including order picking, packing, sorting, stocking, and loading/unloading. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using RF scanners and other equipment.
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.
- Sort and stock received merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing of goods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company policies.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to achieve daily operational goals.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE, including gloves and safety glasses.
- Perform tasks involving frequent Lifting and movement throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good physical condition with the ability to perform repetitive motions and heavy Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Must understand and follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and warehouse operations.
