Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items based on order details and pick lists.
- Verify product information and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Use handheld scanners or other devices to track inventory and order progress.
- Transport picked items to packing or staging areas efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, keeping aisles clear and products properly stored.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned by management.
- Be prepared for regular tasks involving lifting items up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to the overall success of our logistics team.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in order picking or a similar warehouse role is preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy are essential. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. Physical ability to perform frequent lifting is required. Familiarity with warehouse technology is a plus. A strong commitment to safety and adherence to PPE guidelines. Good communication and teamwork skills. Basic understanding of logistics operations is beneficial.
