We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This is a crucial role in our supply chain, ensuring that our customers receive the right products on time. Your primary focus will be on accuracy, speed, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. We pride ourselves on a safe and efficient warehouse operation, and we are looking for individuals who share that commitment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations based on pick lists or electronic scanners.
- Verify product identification and quantities before and after picking.
- Safely operate manual pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles are clear and products are stored correctly.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in regular inventory counts and checks.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Be mindful of physical demands, including regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods. Must be able to perform tasks requiring moderate to heavy lifting. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus. Commitment to workplace safety and willingness to follow all guidelines. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Understanding of logistics operations is beneficial.
