Seeking dedicated Fulfillment Associates to join our team in the vibrant city of San Francisco, California. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will be integral to our e-commerce operations, responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment. This role demands a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and a commitment to upholding our standards of quality and customer service within a fast-paced logistics environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory based on customer orders using a scanning device.
- Inspect products for defects and ensure correct items are selected.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials to ensure safe transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch to various carriers.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse organization.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory management activities, such as cycle counting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, fulfillment, or e-commerce is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and packing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Comfortable with physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 40 pounds.
- Understanding of logistics and warehouse operations.
