We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Tampa, Florida. The Material Handler will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. This role is crucial for maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the overall supply chain operations. You will work in a fast-paced environment, handling, storing, and distributing materials as directed. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential for success in this position. You will collaborate with other warehouse personnel to achieve daily targets and contribute to a positive and productive work atmosphere. Training will be provided to ensure you are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
- Sort, label, and store materials accurately in designated locations.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment according to established procedures.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all warehouse safety regulations.
- Load outgoing shipments, ensuring proper securing of goods.
- Perform other duties as assigned by warehouse management.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Must be able to wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics principles.
- Commitment to adhering to all Safety protocols and procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
