This role will support the digital transformation of our enterprise and manufacturing operations, translating technical requirements into targeted solutions that fit intofairlife'sbroader data framework,roadmapand architecture. This role will also support AI engineering initiatives that drive operational excellence and automated decision-making across the organization.
responsibilities:
Design, implement, and operationalize pipelines to support the data lifecycle of our factory IoT and enterprise usecases
Support the development and delivery of function-specific data models in Microsoft Fabric thatenablea self-service analytics culture across the enterprise
Support development and maintenance of resources supporting our factory IoT streaming pipeline,mainly inour Ignition and Azure environments
Partner with manufacturing & enterprise stakeholders to ensure data validity & adoption
Champion data engineering best practices within the Fabric analytics layer, including Spark optimization, compute trade-offs, and efficient API and file integrations
Work closely with 3rd party data architects and internal data team to develop a deep understanding of our existing data ecosystem
Provide training and support the technical development of fellow team members
skills/qualifications required:
Bachelor's degree indata/computer science, an engineering discipline, or related
Internship or work experience on an enterprise data team
Proficiencyin SQL
Proficiencyin Kusto query language (KQL)
Proficiencyin at least one object-oriented language (Python, Java, C#, etc.)
Experience with Git or other source control
Experience withtelemetry or time-seriesdatasources
Experience with any cloud framework (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.)
Familiar with data streaming/integration tools (message brokers, REST APIs,GraphQL, etc.)
Detailed oriented self-starter, with a growth mindset and a passion for data
Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
