Temporary Intern Sales Assistant
The Sales Assistant is responsible for supporting Kohanaiki's sales and marketing efforts. The following description of job responsibilities and standards is intended to reflect the essential functions of the position. This outline does not detail every aspect of the position, and there may be other responsibilities and duties as assigned. Job Specifics:
Sales Support Support the sales team in creating experiences and relationships with walk-ins, prospects, guests, and members. Management of onsite prospect/guest hosting, including integrating onsite activities, introductions to select Kohanaiki team members, and coordination of special moments tailored to each guest as needed Daily opening and closing of select model homes Coordinate delivery of gifts to prospects / S&M guests staying at the Hale Club Coordinate delivery of closing gifts to new owners/members as required (referrals) Coordinate onsite and offsite West Coast events hosted by sales and marketing (i.e., broker event), working with the Director of Marketing Assist sales team in creating professional, personalized communication (i.e., emails, follow-up, marketing pieces) as needed Update sales team iPad presentations as required Prepare and maintain sales collateral packages in the sales gallery and sales center, and coordinate with the Marketing Manager on reprints and additional collateral requirements Other sales support duties as directed by the Office Manager/Vice President Sales & Marketing Assist with the coordination of property tours and Kohanaiki overview as needed Track all activities and prospect/member/guest information in Brightdoor Marketing Support As-needed support with copywriting for newsletters, emails, invitations, and other marketing pieces Update website as necessary Attend Sales & Marketing meetings (onsite / conference calls) Other duties as appropriate and requested As-needed support with on-site photo and video shoots as required Qualifications:
Valid U.S. Driver's License. High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be very proficient on the computer. Outlook, Excel, & Mac. Must be available for 40+ hours each week. Must have a good attitude towards members, guests, & fellow employees. Customer Service Responsibility:
Ensures that the club's customer service standards are maintained at an exceptional level. Presents self in a professional manner, including appearance, identification, and general communication and conduct at all times. Makes a positive contribution to the work environment through presentation of a positive attitude, demonstration of cooperation and teamwork, and constructive approach to daily events. Listens effectively, responds to guests' requests in a friendly "can-do" manner. Dependability:
Attendance: Adheres to established schedule of work hours. Follows established procedures for early notification to the supervisor when unable to report to work. Call a manager 30 minutes before the shift starts to avoid an improper call-in. Punctuality: Arrives at work on time and works until authorized to leave. Attends all mandatory education/in-service programs and demonstrates understanding of responsibilities through appropriate actions. Demonstrates effective communication by utilizing positive verbal and non-verbal skills in all interactions. Must be able to work a flexible schedule and extra hours when needed. Safety:
Demonstrates adherence to the club's safe practice procedures and makes recommendations to improve safety. Reports any unsafe work practices to the supervisor. Consistently utilizes proper body mechanics in performance of responsibilities, as evidenced by supervisor's observation and no injury to self or others due to improper work habits. Follows proper reporting procedures when injured at work. Is aware of the location of material safety data sheets and refers to them when necessary. Other Duties: Assist with any special project as assigned by management.
