Job Description
We are seeking a highly technical Cyber Security Engineer to strengthen our security posture, protect critical assets, and support enterprise-wide initiatives such as identity and access management (IAM), incident response, cloud security, and organizational security hardening. You must have knowledge of all aspects of modern enterprise environments. As a Coke Northeast Cyber Security Engineer, you are expected to run cyber projects, assist in disaster recovery activities, participate in incident response rotations, and mentor coworkers with technical problems. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience and proven deployment experience with modern security tools, SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, cloud security (Microsoft 365/Azure), and Zero Trust network security technologies. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Implement, monitor, and optimize security tools including SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners, Zero Trust network technologies, and identity protection platforms. Support incident response efforts with triage, containment, root cause analysis, and remediation. Off-hours participation will be required on a defined schedule. Participate in and develop disaster recovery activities to enhance business continuity planning. Maintain and improve security configurations across servers, endpoints, firewalls, cloud tenants, and networking equipment. Develop secure configurations and policies aligned with NIST, CIS Benchmarks, and Zero Trust architecture. Assist in threat hunting, log analysis, and tuning detection rules. Support IAM functions including Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, and privileged account controls. Experience with Azure and PAM solutions such as BeyondTrust, CyberArk, Delinea, or Keeper is preferred. Conduct security assessments and risk reviews for applications, networks, and cloud services, aligned with NIST CSF 2.0. Work cross-functionally with IT, development teams, and leadership to resolve complicated technical problems requiring escalation. Implement automation workflows to make the department more secure and efficient; identify opportunities and develop solutions. Job Requirements
5+ years of experience in Cyber Security, IT Security Engineering, or a related field. Bachelor's degree in a related field. Strong technical knowledge with the ability to deploy technology. Demonstrated hands-on experience with some or all of the following: SIEM / SOAR and incident response (Splunk, Sentinel, CrowdStrike) EDR/AV configuration (Defender for Endpoint, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne) Vulnerability management platforms (Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7) Email security (Microsoft Defender, Proofpoint, etc.) Firewall or network security tools (Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Zscaler, Netskope) PAM usage or deployment (Keeper, BeyondTrust, CyberArk, Delinea) Strong understanding of enterprise networks, DNS, authentication protocols, Windows/Linux security. Experience with Microsoft 365/Azure security configurations. Ability to write queries, scripts, or automations (KQL and PowerShell preferred). Familiarity with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, or similar frameworks.
Preferred Skills Industry certifications (Security+, CySA+, Azure Security Engineer, CEH, GSEC, CCSP, CISSP). Knowledge of Zero Trust architectures and modern identity security models. PLC, SCADA, or Operational Technology experience. Experience with cloud security posture management (CSPM). Experience supporting SOC processes or threat intelligence programs. Knowledge of MDMs, MAM policies, mobile device compliance, mobile device hardening, and mobile network security Securing AI and AI agents with complex workflows.
