Security Solutions Sales Consultant
to support business development, pre-sales activity and customer engagement. Youll work closely with the Head of Business Development and Sales, partnering with customers from first conversation through to deal progression and handover. This is a dynamic role where your communication skills, commercial mindset, and ability to explain solutions with confidence will make a genuine impact on pipeline growth, win rates and customer confidence.
What youll be doing Business Development & Pre-Sales Support
Supporting the sales cycle from early engagement through to deal close Joining customer meetings to help shape solutions that meet needs, objectivesand commercial value Contributing to opportunity qualification, progressionand strategy Helping build and strengthen pipeline through insight, structureand customer-facing engagement Demonstrations & Solution Storytelling
Leading or supporting solution demonstrations Participating in customer site trials, exercisesand validation sessions Clearly communicating the value and benefits of solutions Creating thought-leadership content that helps customers understand capabilities and outcomes Commercial & Proposal Support
Supporting proposals, bidsand commercial submissions Drafting customer-facing materials, solution summariesand white papers Providing input into pricing, packagingand commercial positioning Internal Collaboration & Handover
Translating customer requirements into meaningful inputs for technical teams Ensuring a smooth handover from sales into delivery and support Feeding customer insights back into internal teams to support product and service evolution Travel within the UK - and occasional overseas travel is required.
What youll bring Essential
Strong commercial mindset with experience in sales or business development Confidence engaging directly with customers in a consultative capacity Ability to present, demonstrateand clearly explain solutions Competence in translating technical concepts into business value Excellent written and verbal communication skills Background or understanding of
network security Existing
SC security clearance British Citizenship
(due to security requirements) Desirable
Experience in security-focused sales, pre-salesor solutions consulting Experience producing proposals, white papersor similar documentation
