Job description Our client is a leading provider of IoT/Embedded Electronics Solutions. The Internal Sales Person is responsible for generating sales by contacting prospective and existing customers via telephone, presenting products or services, handling objections, and closing sales while maintaining excellent customer relationships. Key Responsibilities Make outbound sales calls to prospective and existing customers Receive and handle inbound sales enquiries Present and promote products or services clearly and persuasively Identify customer needs and recommend suitable solutions Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets Handle objections and negotiate effectively to close sales Accurately record call outcomes and customer information in the CRM system Follow up leads and maintain ongoing customer relationships Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, pricing, and promotions Comply with company policies, scripts, and relevant regulations (e.g., data protection) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Number of calls made per day Conversion rate / sales closed Revenue generated Customer retention and satisfaction Data accuracy and CRM compliance Skills and Competencies Excellent verbal communication and listening skills Confident, persuasive, and professional telephone manner Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills Target-driven and results-oriented Ability to build rapport quickly Good time management and organisational skills Basic computer literacy and CRM experience Experience and Qualifications Previous experience in telesales, call centre, or sales role (preferred but not always essential) Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets (desirable) Minimum of high school education or equivalent Personal Attributes Self-motivated and resilient Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment Working Conditions Office-based / Remote / Hybrid (as applicable) Standard business hours with possible evening or weekend shifts Performance-based incentives or commission structure
