We are seeking a highly motivated Order Picker to join our logistics team in San Jose, California! This role is integral to ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. You will be responsible for locating, retrieving, and preparing products for shipment, utilizing warehouse management systems and scanning technology. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from various warehouse locations using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Verify the identity and quantity of picked items against order specifications.
- Maintain order accuracy and minimize picking errors.
- Stage picked items efficiently for the packing and shipping departments.
- Contribute to maintaining inventory accuracy through careful handling and scanning.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe according to company standards.
- Follow all established safety procedures, including proper Lifting techniques and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity goals.
- Support the broader logistics operations of the facility.
- Report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or inventory discrepancies promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse/logistics setting is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
