Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload inbound shipments, accurately verifying contents against documentation.
- Store inventory in designated areas, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
- Accurately pick and pack items for customer orders, meeting quality standards.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring correct labeling and packaging for transit.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counting tasks.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard-free workspace.
- Strictly adhere to all company safety protocols and utilize required PPE at all times.
- Assist with loading trucks for outbound delivery.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and perform other manual labor tasks.
- Capacity to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for the entire shift.
- Understanding of basic warehouse management and logistics principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- A profound commitment to safety and the consistent use of PPE.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and meet productivity goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
