In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within the warehouse, including loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods to and from storage areas, and assisting with inventory management. Your expertise in operating forklifts will be crucial in maintaining the flow of products and ensuring the accuracy of our logistics processes. A strong commitment to Safety is paramount, and you will be expected to strictly adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role involves significant material handling and requires the ability to perform substantial Lifting, typically up to 60 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Transport goods to and from designated storage areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock placement.
- Inspect forklift equipment before and after use.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Support the overall logistics operation.
