We are seeking a meticulous Shipping Clerk to join our team in Washington, D.C. This role is essential for ensuring the accurate and timely dispatch of all outgoing shipments, playing a vital part in our logistics network. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for preparing shipping documents, verifying order details, and coordinating with carriers to arrange pickups. Your attention to detail will ensure that all shipments are correctly labeled, documented, and dispatched according to company procedures and customer requirements. This position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Understanding shipping software and procedures is key. Safety is paramount in our operations, and you will be required to follow all Safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when handling shipments or operating associated equipment. While not heavily physical, occasional Lifting may be required. This role is fundamental to the success of our logistics operations, impacting customer satisfaction and the efficiency of our supply chain.
