Our San Francisco, California location is seeking a certified Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout the facility, loading and unloading trucks, and assisting with inventory management. This role is critical to our **logistics** operations, requiring precision and a strong commitment to **safety**. We provide comprehensive **PPE** and enforce stringent **safety** standards to ensure a secure working environment for all. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, stack, and load materials.
- Safely load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklift equipment before and after each use, reporting any issues immediately.
- Assist with inventory control, including cycle counts and stock organization.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all **safety** regulations and **PPE** requirements.
- Follow all **logistics** procedures for material handling and storage.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all assigned tasks.
- Perform other warehouse duties as needed when not operating a forklift.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification required.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including **lifting** up to 50 pounds, standing, and operating machinery for extended periods.
- Thorough knowledge of forklift operating procedures and warehouse **safety** standards.
- Familiarity with **logistics** and inventory management systems.
- Commitment to workplace **safety** and proper use of **PPE**.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
