Exciting opportunity for a Picker/Packer in Kansas City, Missouri! We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders and then carefully packing them for shipment. This position requires a strong sense of accuracy, efficiency, and a commitment to ensuring product quality during the packing process. You will be a vital link in our supply chain, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and in excellent condition. Your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving and verifying order details from pick tickets or electronic devices.
- Locating and picking specified items from warehouse shelves.
- Inspecting picked items for quality and accuracy.
- Selecting appropriate packing materials and containers.
- Carefully packing items to prevent damage during transit.
- Accurately labeling packages for shipment.
- Assisting with staging packed orders for outbound shipping.
Safety is our highest priority. You must consistently use provided personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all established safety procedures to maintain a secure work environment. This role involves considerable standing, walking, bending, and frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse operations is highly beneficial.
