Our logistics team in Denver, Colorado is looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to ensure the smooth and safe operation of our warehouse facilities. This role involves a variety of tasks, including equipment maintenance, facility upkeep, and assisting with the flow of goods. You will be instrumental in maintaining a safe and productive work environment, troubleshooting minor issues, and supporting the overall logistics process. A strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is essential. We seek individuals with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of the facility and equipment, identifying and rectifying potential hazards.
- Assist with the organization and management of inventory and stockroom areas.
- Support the receiving and shipping departments as needed, ensuring efficient logistics flow.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, including common areas and workspaces.
- Implement and enforce all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques and mandatory PPE usage.
- Respond to and resolve operational issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Operate machinery and tools safely and effectively.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and safety checks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; technical certification in mechanics or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in a warehouse maintenance, technician, or similar role.
- Familiarity with common warehouse equipment and tools.
- Knowledge of OSHA and other relevant safety regulations.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient logistics operation.
