Join our growing logistics team as a Material Handler in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma! This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are strong, dependable, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced warehouse environment. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the movement and organization of materials within the facility, ensuring a smooth flow of goods. Your duties will include receiving, stocking, and staging products, as well as operating various material handling equipment. Safety is our top priority, and all employees are expected to follow strict protocols and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming materials and compare paperwork for accuracy.
- Stock and arrange materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Move materials from receiving to storage or production areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Stage materials for outgoing shipments.
- Conduct regular inspections of material handling equipment to ensure safe operation and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all logistics and safety guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Follow all company safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and the mandatory use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 70 pounds).
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members.
