Are you an experienced Forklift Operator looking for a new challenge in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania? Our fast-paced distribution center is seeking a skilled individual to manage the movement of goods with precision and care. You will operate various types of forklifts, including sit-down and stand-up models, to transport materials, load and unload trucks, and support warehouse operations. Safety is our top priority, and you will be expected to strictly follow all safety protocols and maintain your equipment in good working order. This role is integral to our logistics chain, ensuring that products move efficiently from receiving to shipping. If you have a proven track record of safe operation and a strong work ethic, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers accurately and safely.
- Transport goods to and from designated areas.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with valid certification.
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts.
- Excellent knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of logistics and inventory flow.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings.
