Join our bustling Logistics hub in Seattle, Washington as a Material Handler! This fast-paced role is essential for the smooth operation of our warehouse. You'll be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, organizing, and preparing materials for shipment or storage. This includes loading and unloading trucks, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensuring materials are staged correctly for outbound processing. The ideal candidate is physically fit, enjoys working in a team environment, and possesses a strong commitment to workplace Safety . You will work with a variety of materials and products, so attention to detail and careful handling are paramount. This position requires the ability to follow instructions precisely and contribute to a productive workflow. We provide thorough training on equipment operation and safety procedures. Your role directly impacts our ability to meet customer demands on time.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Transport materials within the warehouse.
- Organize and stage materials for processing.
- Conduct regular equipment checks and report any issues.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and wear required PPE .
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Ability to handle Lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Contribute to a positive team dynamic.
