Job Summary:
We have an excellent opportunity for a Warehouse Coordinator in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This supervisory role is essential for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to all safety standards. You will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating staff activities, optimizing workflow, and maintaining equipment. A comprehensive understanding of warehouse management systems and logistics is crucial. You will play a key role in implementing best practices to enhance productivity and minimize errors. Ensuring all team members follow established safety protocols and use appropriate PPE is a critical aspect of this role. While the role is primarily supervisory, there may be occasional needs for lifting or assisting with physical tasks.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of daily warehouse operations.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff.
  • Implement and enforce strict safety policies and procedures.
  • Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and ensure accuracy.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
  • Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure smooth logistics flow.
  • Maintain warehouse equipment and schedule necessary maintenance.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking and reporting.
  • Ensure proper use of PPE by all team members.
  • Handle any operational issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Assist with lifting or physical tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and logistics principles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of workplace safety .
  • Familiarity with a wide range of PPE and its appropriate application.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
