In this role, you will be responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders by picking items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. This involves using scanning technology to ensure precision and efficiency in order processing. Careful packaging is essential to protect goods during transit, and you will also be responsible for labeling packages and staging them for carriers. A strong commitment to safety is a must; you will be provided with all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and must follow all safety guidelines diligently. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using RF scanners.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product integrity.
- Verify order details against shipping information.
- Apply correct labels to packages and prepare for outbound logistics.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and utilize provided PPE.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Assist with inventory checks and cycle counts as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring regular lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding and adherence to safety procedures.
